In the Republic of Moldova, the Kiss FM station is the first radio station to be broadcast on the national DAB multiplex.

The Kiss FM radio station was launched in October 1985. It was originally a pirate radio station. However, it was soon acquired by the Emmis Communications, a company that owns several other radio stations.
